Peter "Pete" Alexander Bennett is a housemate from Big Brother 7. He is a rock and roll singer from Brighton. He has Tourette's syndrome. He entered the House on Day 1, and exited on Day 93 as the winner of the series.
Big Brother 7
During his time in the Big Brother House, Pete had a romantic relationship with Nikki Grahame, however their relationship did not last after their time on Big Brother.
Pete was the bookies' favourite to win from the very start of the series. On August 18, 2006, Pete won the show with 61.2% of the final vote.

Pete entered the Ultimate Big Brother House in 2010, a commemorative series featuring famous past housemates, as part of Nikki's "PA" task.
Big Brother 16
During Big Brother 16 in 2015, as part of a special "Time Warp" week, Pete entered the House along with many other Big Brother "legends" in the "Let's Do The Time Warp" shopping task.
Post Big Brother
Pete released an autobiography, Pete: My Story, was published in November 2006.
He was the lead singer in a band called Daddy Fantastic, but he left the band after agreeing with a record label that he should become a solo artist. He later went on to form another band, Pete Bennett and the Love Dogs.
An exclusive interview in Reveal magazine in April 2014 has uncovered the full story of Pete's life after Big Brother, revealing that he was high on LSD at the auditions and that the entire show was rehab for him.
He discussed his battles with drugs and homelessness on an episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2015.

- Pete unsuccessfully auditioned for Big Brother 5 in 2004.
- He is the first person with Tourette's syndrome to ever enter the Big Brother House.
- He was nominated for a National Television Award in 2006 for "Most Popular TV Contender"; however, his fellow Big Brother 7 contestant Nikki Grahame won the award.
