Costadinos Contostavlos, aka Dappy, is a housemate from Celebrity Big Brother 13.

Profile[]

Costadinos Contostavlos, known as Dappy, is a British rapper of Greek descent. Dappy formed N-Dubz with friend, Fazer, and cousin Tulisa when they were 13. Dappy met Richard 'Fazer' Rawson at a karate class aged 9 and they started writing songs together.

Recruiting his cousin Tulisa to share vocals, N-Dubz was formed in 2000, playing gigs round pubs and clubs in Camden. In 2007, the group won the Best Newcomer award at the MOBOs. Shortly afterwards, they signed a deal with Polydor Records, who re-released their track You Better Not Waste My Time. The newly-released version of the single reached No 26 on the UK singles chart. Later that year, Dappy teamed up with Baker Troble to release Love For My Slums, which became a huge hit on Channel U. In May 2008, their track Ouch received more than 4 million views on YouTube.

After leaving their deal with Polydor, the group signed with Around the World Records, where they released a string of Top 10 albums. Dappy has since gone solo, collaborating with Tinchy Stryder on the track Number 1, which topped the charts.

Celebrity Big Brother 13[]

Dappy entered the House on Day 1 handcuffed to Liz. However, as part of the Launch Night twist, they were then released from each other but automatically faced the first eviction as a pair.
