Celebrity Big Brother 1 was the first series of Celebrity Big Brother UK. The series was produced in aid of Comic Relief. As Comic Relief is show by the BBC, this was a rare joint project between rival teleision networks. The daily highlights shows were aired on Channel 4, while BBC aired short updates and the final.
Six celebrities lived in the Big Brother 1 House for eight days.

Anthea Turner Anthea Turner is an English television personality. She is famous for presenting Blue Peter, GMTV and travel show Wish You Were Here...?. In the House, she did most of the cooking and cleaning, until she was evicted on Day 6.
[edit] Chris Eubank
Chris Eubank is a boxer. He speaks with a lisp and in upper-class tones, dresses as a stereotypically upper-class Englishman and carries a cane. He was evicted after 24 hours in the House on Day 2.
[edit] Claire Sweeney
Claire Sweeney is an actress, singer and television personality, most famous for playing Lindsey Corkhill in soap opera Brookside. In the House, she became good friends with Anthea Turner, and they have remained close friends since appearing in the series. She left in second place on Day 8.

Jack Dee is an English comedian. During evictions, he dressed up in a tweed jacket and cap and held his packed suitcase, hoping to be voted out. He escaped from the House for several hours during Day 2, but returned soon after. During the eviction of Anthea, he ran out of the House to see his wife. Also, on Day 7, he loosened a panel on the toilet roof using a screwdriver provided by Big Brother, which Big Brother thought was to fix his sunglasses. He left the House as the winner on Day 8.

Keith Duffy is an Irish singer, famous for being part of the band Boyzone. He left the house on Day 8, in third place.
[edit] Vanessa Feltz
Vanessa Feltz is a journalist and broadcaster. She showed signs of stress in the House, one time scrawling on the dining table with chalk provided for a task, and screaming obscenities when Big Brother called her to the Diary Room. She was evicted from the House on Day 4.
