Alexandra Justine De-Gale is a housemate from Big Brother 9.

Profile

Alexandra is a single mother, who had her daughter when she was 16 years old. Her daughter is now seven, and Alexandra says she's proud of what she's achieved, in raising her child on her own, while also having a good job and nice cars. She was raised as a Christian, but a few years ago converted to Islam. However, despite trying to go to her mosque as often as she can, she now describes herself as a non-practising Muslim.

Alexandra's philosophy in life is "go hard or go home", and she believes that private schools should be scrapped and that everyone should be educated to the same standard for free, so everyone has an equal start in life.

She describes herself as quirky, outgoing and a go-getter, and hates to be bored. And while she's proud of what she's achieved for a 23-year-old, she's a little disappointed as she wanted to be a millionaire by now. However, Alexandra does claim she's famous in Croydon and says that lot of people want to socialise with her.

Her own worst critic, Alexandra admits she's not very pleasant to live with sometimes, but declares herself a natural born leader. Appearance-wise, she gives herself 10/10 for looks, and says "love me or hate me - you'll be obsessed!"

Big Brother 9

Alexandra was ejected on Day 14, not as a result of a public vote but because of the producers and Channel 4 deciding her behaviour had been unacceptable.

Post-Big Brother

After the show, Alexandra did one interview for Heat Magazine. It has been reported that her BMW car, which she had on finance, had been vandalised with the words 'bitch', 'slut' and 'scum' scratched into its paint work.

• Alexandra is the sixth ever housemate to be removed from the House by Big Brother.
  • Due to their ejections, Alexandra and Dennis McHugh were not asked to appear on the Finale night of Big Brother 9 with the rest of the housemates.
  • She is the fifth ever female housemate to be removed from the House.
  • Despite her ejection, Alexandra still received an interview with Davina McCall that was aired during the live show.
• Due to Alexandra's ejection, the eviction on Day 16 was cancelled.
  • After voting lines were closed between Mario Marconi and her, Alexandra had received 87% of the vote-to-evict.
• Alexandra and Sylvia Barrie jointly hold the record for having received more nominations in one week then any other housemate in Big Brother 9, with 9 nominations each.
